Hello! My name is Yue Chu, and I am currently seeking certification to teach mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering in grades 7-12.

I was born in Beijing, China but grew up in Frisco, Texas. In 2015, I graduated from Liberty High School, and in December 2019, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Sciences in Chemical Engineering. My major has given me a lot of experience in  math, chemistry, and physics, while being apart of the UTeach program has really prepared me for the classroom. Student teaching is the last step of my pedagogy certification, and this semester, I will be teaching Algebra 2 at Bowie High School for Mr. Robert Rasmus. I'm really looking forward to it!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and watching TV shows. Fun fact: I've been playing chess competitively since I was a kid and still sometimes attend tournaments. :)
